Blockfolio Alternative 2026: Read-Only Web Dashboard

If you are searching for a Blockfolio alternative in 2026, you are not looking for a live Blockfolio app.

Blockfolio was a mobile news and portfolio tracker. FTX acquired it, rebranded it, and the company later entered the FTX bankruptcy. The consumer app is not a live tracker. There is no Blockfolio product to migrate into.

The remaining question is the job you actually want:

  • a read-only web dashboard for a short list of wallets and exchanges, plus manual banks, cash, and property, or
  • something else: tax lots, Plaid bank sync, a mobile clone, or a 300-exchange catalog

Those are different jobs.

Quick answer: if you need tax lots, Plaid, a native mobile Blockfolio clone, or hundreds of exchanges, use a product built for that. FinCobra Watchlist is a private read-only web dashboard — Bitcoin xPub, EVM (Ethereum / Arbitrum / BSC), Solana, Binance and Bybit read-only API, Hyperliquid by address, and manual bank / cash / property. It is not a Blockfolio clone, not tax software, and not Plaid.

This is a fit filter. It is not a Blockfolio 2026 feature matrix. We will not invent one.

What happened to Blockfolio

Facts as of 2026-08-26. This is history, not a feature list.

  • August 2020: FTX acquired Blockfolio for $150 million in cash, crypto, and equity. CoinDesk described it as a mobile news and portfolio tracking app (CoinDesk).
  • 28 July 2021: the app rebranded from FTX: Blockfolio to the FTX app (PR Newswire).
  • 11 November 2022: Blockfolio, Inc. petitioned as debtor Case 22-11110, jointly administered under FTX Trading Ltd. 22-11068 (D. Del.) (Kroll).
  • The consumer Blockfolio / FTX retail app is not a live tracker.
  • If you have an FTX customer claim, that path is claims.ftx.com/welcome. Watchlist does not migrate claims.

The split that actually matters

"Blockfolio alternative" is a graveyard query. People still type it because they want balances and PnL on a read-only dashboard.

What they often get instead:

  • tax software built around lots
  • net-worth apps that pull banks through Plaid
  • mobile trackers that sell the old Blockfolio feeling
  • catalogs that advertise 300+ exchanges

Watchlist is none of those.

It is a private SPA/PWA at watch.fincobra.com. Sign in with Google or a crypto wallet. Add the sources below. See balances and PnL. Connections are read-only. There is no custody and no advisory data-sales. It is not local-only and not "no servers."

If you want the old mobile app back, we are the wrong tool. If you want a read-only web dashboard with a short source list, we are in the set.

What Watchlist tracks

Product docs: watch.fincobra.com/docs.

SourceHow you connect
Bitcoin xPubBTC xPub. Read-only. Strongest full-history PnL.
EVMEthereum, Arbitrum, BSC.
SolanaSolana.
BinanceRead-only API.
BybitRead-only API. Spot only.
HyperliquidBy address.
Bank, cash, propertyManual. Optional mortgage on property. No Plaid. No automatic bank sync.

That is the crypto list. Not 300 exchanges.

Balances and PnL. Where the model applies, PnL is zero-crossing / current-position — not tax-lot FIFO. Bitcoin xPub is the strongest full-history claim.

Price: the first 3 crypto sources are free. Then $1/mo or $10/yr.

What Watchlist is not

  • Not a Blockfolio replacement. Different product. Different year.
  • Not tax software. Not tax-lot FIFO.
  • Not Plaid. No automatic bank sync.
  • Not 300 exchanges. Binance, Bybit (spot), Hyperliquid. That is it for venues.
  • Not local-only. It is a private web app. There are servers.

Choose them if

Choose a different product if most of these are the actual job:

  • You need tax lots or tax filing.
  • You need Plaid or automatic bank sync.
  • You want a native mobile clone of the old Blockfolio app.
  • You need a 300-exchange catalog.

If that is you, use the tool built for that job.

Choose Watchlist if

Choose Watchlist if most of these are true:

  • You want a read-only web dashboard.
  • You will live on the short source list above.
  • You will enter bank, cash, and property by hand.
  • You want current-position PnL, not tax lots.
  • 3 free crypto sources, then $1/mo or $10/yr, is the price you expected.

That is the product.

How to decide in one pass

  1. Need tax lots / tax filing? Tax software. Stop.
  2. Need Plaid or automatic bank sync? A Plaid net-worth app. Stop.
  3. Need a mobile Blockfolio clone? A mobile tracker. Stop.
  4. Need hundreds of exchanges? A broad tracker. Stop.
  5. Need a read-only web dashboard for the sources above? Watchlist.

Do not ask us to be Blockfolio. That product is gone. This one is a read-only web dashboard.
