What happened to Blockfolio
Facts as of 2026-08-26. This is history, not a feature list.
- August 2020: FTX acquired Blockfolio for $150 million in cash, crypto, and equity. CoinDesk described it as a mobile news and portfolio tracking app (CoinDesk).
- 28 July 2021: the app rebranded from FTX: Blockfolio to the FTX app (PR Newswire).
- 11 November 2022: Blockfolio, Inc. petitioned as debtor Case 22-11110, jointly administered under FTX Trading Ltd. 22-11068 (D. Del.) (Kroll).
- The consumer Blockfolio / FTX retail app is not a live tracker.
